Green Beans
Green Beans are high in Vitamins ... one of the first vegetables to produce in the garden. They are delicious fresh, steamed, roasted, canned or frozen. We pick beans at their optimal state when they are young, fresh and crisp, not overgrown where they can be tough, oversized and stringy.
Patty Pans
Patty Pans are a delicious summer squash that are much like zucchini but with more flavor. They can be picked at various sizes but are most tender when they are small. The skin is soft, and they can be diced, sautéed, fried, grilled on the barbque, baked or roasted. They have a firmer texture than zucchini, do not get mushy when cooked, and make a great addition to any meal.
Once pickling cucumbers start to produce, we pick them every day for optimal size and flavor. 1-4 inches long makes the perfect dill pickle sizes, and anything bigger than that we throw in free, though you can pickle the larger ones by slicing and then pickling - perfect pickle slices for sandwiches and burgers! They also make great relish.

We grow a variety of slicing cucumbers that have proven to be sweet and crunchy. A fresh picked garden cucumber far surpasses taste and texture compared to store bought cucumbers.

We grow bell, sweet, italian, hot cayennes and jalapenos. For your order, we will make sure you get the best of the crop.
Zucchinis are a garden favorite because of their versatility and productive early growth. Great for all kinds of cooking and baking, or made into zucchini noodles for lo carb eating.

Swiss Chard is similar to spinach and is a delicious leafy green that can be eaten fresh, steamed, or chopped and put into almost any dish. High in vitamins, we grow Rainbow swiss chard which adds beautiful color to any meal.

We start our tomatoes indoor early in the year to get the most out of our provinces' short growing season. Fresh garden tomatoes are a must have in every kitchen throughout the summer. Feel free to ask for unripe green tomatoes so you can enjoy watching them ripen on your kitchen counter, but fresh picked vine ripened red always give the freshest taste.

We have tried different carrots over the years, and love the sweetness, size, texture, cooking and storing abilities of this variety. Even sweeter after a frost, we are sure you will be very happy with these carrots.

Our choice of beet has been the Cylindra beet. Their elongated shape make them ideal for pickling, slicing, shredding and roasting, and are sweet and delicious. We love them drizzled with olive oil and spices, and then roasting them. We also do lots of shredding and chopping for winter soups and stews.

We grow Spaghetti, Acorn, Buttercup, and Butternut squashes. If stored in a cool dry place they can last throughout the winter for a continuous fresh supply. Winter squashes are delicious baked, roasted, grilled, or made into soups.

Fresh sweet corn is always a family favorite. Once picked, use as soon as possible since the starches break down quickly after harvesting and the corn can become tough and lose its incredibly sweet flavor.

We like to grow different pumpkins for different uses. Sugar pumpkins are great for eating, roasting and baking. Other pumpkins are great for decorating, like white pumpkins, and others are perfect for carving.
